Five Iron Golf Continues Northeast Expansion with New Haven Lease at The Winston

Global golf and entertainment brand signs lease for New Haven location as franchise partner Ironwood Ventures expands regional footprint with third Northeast location

New Haven, CT, Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Five Iron Golf, the global leader in golf and entertainment, today announced it has signed a lease to open a new location at The Winston, a mixed-use development at 301 Winchester Avenue in New Haven developed by Winchester Partners, a joint venture between LMXD and Twining Properties. Expected to open in the first half of 2027, the venue continues Five Iron Golf's expansion across the Northeast and marks the third location for franchise partner Ironwood Ventures, following Port Chester, N.Y., and Norwalk, Conn., which recently opened as Five Iron Golf's milestone 50th global location.

Five Iron Golf marked the Norwalk opening in August with a ceremonial first swing and ribbon cutting alongside Norwalk Mayor Barbara C. Smyth and members of the Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce. A public grand opening celebration is scheduled for September 17.

The approximately 10,915-square-foot venue will feature 12 Trackman golf simulators, a full-service kitchen and bar, Dartsee, shuffleboard and additional social games, creating a year-round destination to play, practice, compete, connect and gather.

The Winston is a newly opened 283-unit mixed-income apartment building in New Haven’s Science Park, with more than 12,800 square feet of retail space. The development is part of the larger revitalization of the former Winchester Repeating Arms Company factory complex, bringing new housing, businesses and gathering places to the neighborhood.

Construction is expected to begin following permitting, with an anticipated opening in the first half of 2027.
